   Message from the President

Dear Skal Members,

December is here and our final event of the year will take place Tuesday December 8th. It will be a very exciting agenda with good food and drink, Amicale and a raffle with hi-end items featured including, a Caribbean Cruise for two, TV, Cameras, get-a-ways and artwork. A cruise evening will also be up for grabs thanks to our member Capt.Haley Sofge

Our club has had a very challenging year due to the economic crisis. We have lost some members but the exciting news is that we have new members joining each month and this month we will induct 2 new members. Recognizing the difficult economic times we all face, your board has significantly reduced the dues for 2010 and that should make it easier for our members to keep active as well as recruit new members to the Best Skal club ever.

I look forward to seeing you Tuesday and celebrating the end of 2009 and welcoming in 2010. The nominating committee will be presenting a slate of new officers for next year with the elections to follow in January.

TIME: Reception 6:30 pm

Dinner 7:30 pm: Wine throughout dinner

ENTREES choose 1 of 2:

A. Grilled Florida Spiny Lobster with Chile and Brown rubbed Tenderloin
 
B. Black Truffle Paradelle and Stewed Heirloom Tomatos and Saffron

Dessert and Coffee

  • Live Band with Dancing throughout the Evening
  • Bring a toy ($15 minimum) or check (payable to Miami Children's Hospital) to help the sick children celebrate Christmas
  • Exciting Raffle with great prizes!
